The two main presenters will be Michael Suley\, former head of the Allegheny Office of Property assessment and a consultant to the plaintiffs in the lawsuit challenging the county’s common level ratio\nAnd Attorney Megan Turnbull one of the attorneys for the Pittsburgh School District opposing the lowering of the common level ratio for 2022. Robert Peirce\, a prominent assessment attorney\, will be the moderated assisted by Attorney David Martin who will discuss potential ethical issues facing people who appeal their assessment. DESCRIPTION:John Unice\, Esq. of bit-x-bit will explain the electronic discovery reference model (“EDRM”) and the lifecycle of evidence.  There are four key pillars of the EDRM that lawyers must understand (1) identifying potentially relevant evidence; (2) properly preserving/collecting the evidence; (3) sorting out irrelevant files; and (4) reviewing what is most important\, before producing evidence to your adversary.  We’ll also overview what courts have said about the use of technology-assisted document review. \n  \nThis event is free for ACLL members and $35 for non-members.
