August 20 @ 11:30 am1:00 pm
Two women. One is standing and holding a coffee mug. The other is sitting. They are both looking at a shared computer screen.

This ethics CLE will introduce you to what trauma is, how it manifests throughout the brain & body, and practices to become more trauma informed. Many professionals interact with clients who are experiencing trauma, which can impact client-professional relationships. Learn more about engaging with clients experiencing trauma, while practicing self-care to address your own emotional well-being. Additionally, learn how Allegheny County Law Library works to support self-represented litigants experiencing trauma.

The CLE will be hosted by the Allegheny County Law Library with their Social Work Intern and current Master of Social Work Student Olivia Collins, BSW.

This event is free for all current Allegheny County Law Library members. For non-members, a fee of $40 will be required for non-members. Payment can be received by credit card, cash, or check.

Registration is required for all attendees. Register by clicking here and completing the form.

This CLE will award 1.5 Ethics Credits to attendees.
