ACLL 101: Navigating Legal Resources at Your Library

January 13, 2027 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join us for an hour-long introduction to the Allegheny County Law Library (ACLL) and the specialized legal services we offer. Whether you’re facing a legal challenge, conducting research, or simply want to learn more about what’s available, this session will equip you with the knowledge to navigate our services with confidence. In this class, you will learn what ACLL is and how it supports the community, how to access legal resources both at the library and from home, and the difference between a Pro Se Library Card and a CLP Library Card. You’ll also get an introduction to exclusive databases like Lexis, Westlaw, and Gale Legal Forms, and see how ACLL provides personalized guidance for legal research.

This class will take place in person at CLP-Hill District. Registration is encouraged, and walk ins are welcome!
