Those practicing law in the state of Pennsylvania are required to extend their learning beyond the law school studies. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) helps lawyers to extend their learning beyond their years spent in law school.
Allegheny County Law Library is an Accredited Provider for in-person and remote CLEs by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board.
As the general public expects lawyers to exhibit professional competence and maintain ethical behavior when practicing law, Allegheny County Law Library offers no-cost or low-cost CLE presentations throughout the year.
Interested in partnering with ACLL to present a CLE? Please fill out our Partner with Us form.
CLE experiences offered through ACLL vary in subject matter but often focus on connecting participants with subject matter experts, updated laws and regulations, legal research tools, and matters that affect the Courts.
A small number of pre-recorded CLEs are available on demand. Please fill out the Contact Us form if you would like to request the pre-recorded menu options.
Current Allegheny County Law Library Members can attend all CLE classes at no cost. A $25/credit fee is required to attend most sessions as a non-member. Details are posted with each individual class.
