Courts in Pennsylvania are divided into regions. Allegheny County is the Fifth Judicial District of Pennsylvania. The Fifth District includes Civil Court, Criminal Court, Family Court, Orphans’ Court, Magisterial District Courts, and Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
As the only public library dedicated to legal information in Allegheny County, we provide service to all of those who have connections to the Courts. This includes the general public, those representing themselves in court, lawyers, judges, and those who work in the Court system.
