Understanding the “People’s Court:” The Nuts and Bolts of Small Claims Court

Join Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts and Allegheny County Law Library for a discussion about Pennsylvania’s minor courts where individuals can resolve disputes typically involving smaller amounts of money or property. In this presentation, attendees will hear directly from Magisterial District Judges on specific work they do, what warrants taking legal action, what you should prepare for court, and the expectations inside a courtroom.

This event will be held in-person at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Main  and offered via Zoom. Registration is recommended but not required if attending at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Main. Registration is required if attending virtually via Zoom.
